HODARI Foundation is a refugee led - organisation that deploys a human-centered design approach to enhance the resilience of both refugees and the host community in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, Uganda. During our five years of existence , we have successfully empowered more than 5,000 young individuals with valuable skills and leadership capabilities. Our ultimate goal is to break the cycle of gender inequality, discrimination, poverty, food insecurity, and the adverse impacts of climate change in order to positively transform the lives of vulnerable refugees. Our vision: Refugees and Host Community in Mpara Sub-County, Kyaka II Refugee Settlement Kyegegwa District , Western Uganda enjoying an equitable life free from Poverty, food insecurity and are more adaptive to climate change.
